Patrol Shifts

• 8:40 to 9:00 am         Grant & Laxdal (2 adult crossing guards and student safety patrols) and Bloomer & Laxdal (student safety patrols)
• 11:45 to 11:55 am      Grant & Laxdal (adult crossing guard)
• 12:30 to 12:45 pm      Grant & Laxdal (adult crossing guard)
• 3:35 to 3:45 pm          Grant & Laxdal (2 adult crossing guards and student safety patrols) and Bloomer & Laxdal (student safety patrols) 

Our school crossing guard team is comprised of many dedicated children and adult crossing guards who provide this very important community service in all kinds of weather. As such, they deserve our gratitude, cooperation, respect, and support. We encourage all parents to have a discussion with your children regarding the importance of cooperating with the patrols, including following the guards’ instructions, walking bikes through the crossings, and refraining from distracting crossing guards from their duty. In addition, a smile and a thank you to the crossing guards go a long way!

Please know that, for the safety of all members of our learning community, there are no right turns on the red lights at Grant & Laxdal during school hours. Thank you for your cooperation!
